Who you are contracting with

NamedFirst. For contractual details, invoices or anything else, write to hello@namedfirst.co.uk and we will answer with the full entity details.

What the service does

We ask AI assistants the questions your buyers ask, record the answers, and report whether you were named. We also crawl your public website to explain the results, and on the paid plans we carry out agreed technical and content work.

The measurement is taken through the engines' own APIs. Those answers are close to, but not identical with, what someone sees in the consumer apps, and they change over time. Every run is a point-in-time measurement, not a guarantee of what an engine will say tomorrow.

What we do not promise

• We do not promise a particular score, ranking, or that an engine will name you.
• Expected point gains attached to recommended work are model estimates. They are what we think the work is worth, not a commitment.
• We do not control the engines. If one changes its model, its pricing, or its API, the measurement changes with it and we will say so in your dashboard.

Payment

The one-off audit is charged once, in advance. Monthly plans are charged in advance for each period and renew until you cancel. Prices are shown before you pay and include any tax shown at checkout. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

Cancelling and refunds

Cancel a monthly plan at any time from your dashboard — no notice period, no cancellation fee. You keep access to everything already measured, and no further period is charged. We do not refund periods that have already been measured and delivered.

If the one-off audit fails to produce a report, we refund it in full. If you believe a charge is wrong, write to hello@namedfirst.co.uk and we will look at it and put it right.

Work carried out on your site

On the plans that include it, we only change your site through the access you grant, within the scope you approve, and every change is logged and reversible. You can withdraw that access at any time from your dashboard. You remain responsible for the content you approve for publication.

Your obligations

Audit only domains you own or are authorised to act for. Do not resell or republish the reports as your own work without agreeing it with us first. Do not attempt to overload the service or work around the free-audit limits.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost profits or indirect loss.

Changes

We may change these terms. If a change matters to you — price, scope, cancellation — we will tell you by email before it applies to your plan.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
